Take a Ride on the Earth Simulator

The Earth Simulator is an immersive, pedal-powered experience that will take you around the Sun and back!

For 'Our Place in Space', artist Paddy Bloomer was inspired by the mechanical orreries of old. Using retired bike parts and farm machinery, the large Earth Simulator’s design illustrates the mechanics and rotations of our solar system in the most fun and interactive way imaginable. It quite literally puts the world in your hands (and also under your feet).

This will be a drop-in experience during the last week of the complete trail, located in the Walled Garden in the grounds of our museum on Wednesday 22nd, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March.

Parental supervision is required. All humans must be 12+ and a minimum height of 5ft 5.
